The Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed that the sexual offence case against Nigerian dancer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, known as Poco Lee, remains live and active in the United Kingdom.
The CPS issued the clarification on 12 September 2026, countering viral online rumours that the complainant had withdrawn the charges or that the matter had been settled out of court.
Poco Lee was detained in August after travelling to London for the “Davido and Friends” concert. He faces five sexual offence charges: two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and two counts of assault by penetration.
His management team has stated that social media claims about drink-spiking are false. The court has imposed strict reporting restrictions to protect the complainant’s identity.
The case returns to Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing. Poco Lee is expected to formally enter a plea of guilty or not guilty.
The CPS confirmed the trial timeline but did not clarify whether Poco Lee remains on remand in prison or has been granted bail. Court representatives are awaiting further updates on his custody status.
