The grand finale was held on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Ayeloja progressed from the Top 20 to the Top 10, then the Top 5, before securing fourth position overall behind France, India and Puerto Rico. Vietnam placed as 4th Runner-Up.

Dylan Palmerini of France was crowned the winner, marking back-to-back victories for the European country at Manhunt International.

Ayeloja’s performance extends Nigeria’s consistent presence in international male pageantry. He also won the Best Fashion Model Award during the preliminary rounds, strengthening his profile on the world stage.

The Lagos-born model, who originally competed as Mr Kwara during the Misters of Nigeria pageant, represented Nigeria following his national crowning as Manhunt International Nigeria 2026.

His campaign was built on runway strength, physical presentation and disciplined preparation. He arrived in Sri Lanka early ahead of the official schedule to acclimatise and finalise training.

The placement adds to Nigeria’s growing record at Manhunt International, following Samuel Nwajagu’s historic win in 2024 and subsequent strong finishes by Nigerian delegates.

He is expected to return to Nigeria in the coming days, with a reception likely to be organised by the Misters of Nigeria Organisation.
