Naima Thomas, a Nigerian‑Sudanese fitness influencer and content creator based in Abuja, has been recognised as a Distinguished Recipient of the Global Most Influential Women Ambassador award.
The honour, conferred on April 18, 2025, celebrates her exceptional leadership and transformative impact in uplifting women, advancing mental health awareness, and promoting economic and social empowerment across Africa and the global community.
In her acceptance remarks, Thomas dedicated the award to a broader movement. “This recognition isn’t just for me,” she said. “It’s for every woman choosing healing, self-awareness, and growth. We’re just getting started.”
Thomas, active in the fitness industry for over three years, shares lifestyle content including wellness tips, travel experiences, and fine dining. She has also featured as a cast member in the reality‑style project “The House.”
Photos from the inaugural ceremony show Thomas dressed in an elegant white kaftan, holding a framed certificate against a backdrop of world flags and African Union insignia. The award is backed by the Pan‑African Women Advancement Partnership and aligns with Agenda 2063.
The honour positions Thomas as a rising voice in advocacy, wellness, and leadership, representing both Nigerian and Sudanese roots.
Her message of healing and growth signals continued commitment to empowering women across Africa and beyond.
