The Niger Delta’s brightest stage has a new queen! Stacy Opera, the brilliant and driven representative from Rivers State, has emerged victorious as the 2025 Miss Boro, donning the iconic crown and securing a grand prize of one million naira, plus a month-long skill acquisition training sponsored by Vicky Blinkz Beauty.
The organizers beamed with pride as they celebrated Stacy’s win: “Congratulations to the Rivers State representative on clinching the most coveted crown, a prize of one million naira, and a month skill acquisition training for free, courtesy of Vicky Blinkz Beauty!”
The stage was fiercely contested, with Miss Boro Edo, Favour Okorocgukwu, nabbing the 1st runner-up spot, and Miss Boro Bayelsa, Precious Osunu-Binalayefa, earning 2nd runner-up honors.
Stacy Opera isn’t just a queen—she’s a torchbearer for change. A passionate reader, Afrobeats lover, dedicated volunteer, and entrepreneurial accounting student, Stacy wowed both judges and audience with her poise and vision. In her intelligence round, she spoke deeply about balancing her reign with entrepreneurship and rolled out a powerful advocacy: women’s health, with a special focus on breast cancer awareness.
“In our society today, breast cancer has become alarming, leading to the death of our mothers, daughters, and children,” Stacy declared. “Educating people about prevention, screening, and treatment options will help. The only way we can achieve this is through community outreaches—in schools, churches, marketplaces—and partnerships with healthcare providers.”
Her commitment echoes the Miss Boro Pageant’s founding spirit—where young women are inspired to impact, rise as resilient leaders, and become champions of development across the Niger Delta. The organizers deserve resounding applause for spotlighting Nigerian girls and women, showing the world that beauty here is powered by brains, boldness, and heart for community.
Congratulations to Stacy Opera, the new Miss Boro! As she takes the mantle from outgoing queen Bridget Seitimibowei—the 2024 nursing student and cervical cancer advocate from Kaiama town, Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA—the legacy of health advocacy, leadership, and impact burns even brighter.
Long live the queens who make Nigeria proud.
