In a move smoother than any takedown we’ve seen in the Octagon, David Adesanya, the younger brother of UFC superstar Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya, has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner and “best friend,” Abbey.
The wedding, a vibrant celebration of love, culture, and brotherhood, was a far cry from the hilarious viral moment that first introduced David to many MMA fans. There were no failed spinning kicks, no comical falls, and certainly no imitating laughter from his brother—only pure joy, and the kind of “main character energy” that clearly runs in the Adesanya bloodline.
David, who plays a pivotal role in managing his brother’s events and the massive “FREESTYLEBENDER” YouTube channel, shared a series of heartwarming photos from the big day, captioning them with simple, profound gratitude:

Embracing their Yoruba roots, the groom and his groomsmen—including the former 2-time UFC Middleweight Champion Israel—donned magnificent Agbada ensembles. David stood out in a deep royal blue, accessorized with traditional coral beads, while Israel and the other groomsmen complemented him in lighter blue tones.
