Fresh off a monumental, sold-out spectacle at London’s iconic O2 Arena, Nigerian highlife and Afrobeats icon Flavour (@2niteflavour) is bringing his immersive “Afroculture Experience” tour to Canada this July, setting the stage for two blockbuster events that promise to be the definitive African lifestyle moments of the summer.
The tour, designed as a deep cultural immersion, will feature live traditional percussion, dynamic African choreography, high-fashion storytelling, and full-band renditions of Flavour’s global hits.
The Western Canada stop anchors the outdoor festival scene. On Friday, July 10, Flavour will headline the third annual Afro Switch Festival at Lot 6 (311 8 St SW) in Calgary. Doors open at 4:00 PM for an open-air celebration of food, fashion, and music, with premium VIP tables and an exclusive post-show Meet & Greet with the star himself. Tickets are available via AfroSwitch.
For an upscale indoor experience, Flavour heads to Toronto on Sunday, July 26, taking the stage at the historic Queen Elizabeth Theatre (190 Princes’ Blvd) inside Exhibition Place. Starting at 7:00 PM, this dedicated headline concert offers fans an intimate evening of his rich vocal arrangements and full live band. Tickets are available through Cokobar.
Flavour’s Canadian run is shaping up to be an unmissable celebration of African music, style, and heritage.
