The 2026 Face of Hope 2nd Runner-Up Augusta Ogabanya Ogaba has penned a warm tribute to Miss International Nigeria 2026, Damilola ‘Dammy’ Bolarinde, at a farewell dinner held before the queen departs for Japan.
The dinner, hosted by MC Galaxy and Sekem Kitchen Abuja, brought together friends, family and pageant colleagues in a night Ogaba described as full of love, celebration and purpose.
“Celebrating sisterhood, grace, and royalty,” Ogaba wrote. “Such a memorable dinner night surrounded by love, celebration, and purpose as we cheer on our Miss International Nigeria 2026 before she takes off for Japan!”
Ogaba, who finished as 2nd Runner-Up at the national pageant, spoke directly to the queen.
“You carry the pride, elegance, and strength of Nigerian women with so much grace. Standing by your side as your 2nd Runner-Up has been such a privilege, and I’m cheering you on every step of the way!”
She urged Nigerians to support Dammy at the international competition.
“Let’s show our queen maximum love and keep those votes coming in. Please download the Miss International App to cast your vote for Nigeria! Let’s bring the crown home.”
Ogaba represented Rivers State at the national pageant and emerged as 2nd Runner-Up at the grand finale held at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos.
She also won the Best Traditional Attire award for her Rivers State-inspired costume.
Before her Face of Hope success, she held the title of Nigeria Queen in 2022 and represented the country at Miss Grand International.
Queen Dammy is expected to depart for Japan in the coming days ahead of the Miss International competition.
Voting is open on the Miss International app.
