Nigerian superstar Davido delivered a historic performance at the Polo Field Showground on May 2, 2026, shutting down the 35,000-capacity venue as part of the final African leg of his “5ive Alive Tour.”

The Afrobeats hitmaker ran through a high-energy set of global bangers, sending the sold-out crowd into a frenzy. The Zambia stop marked one of the tour’s biggest audiences, with media outlets calling the event historic for the local entertainment scene.

Before the main stadium show, Davido made a double-header appearance at a networking event at Ciela Resort on May 1, further cementing his connection with Zambian fans and industry players.

The “5ive Alive Tour” is now approaching its final curtain. After Lusaka, Davido heads to Conakry, Guinea, for two closing shows on May 8 and 9.

With back-to-back sold-out arenas across Africa, Europe, and North America, the tour has cemented Davido’s status as one of the continent’s most bankable live acts.

Lusaka will not forget the night the Nigerian king of Afrobeats came to town.
