The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Goodnews Mega Assembly in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, has honoured two of its members for their outstanding academic achievements.
The church celebrated Akinleye Oreoluwa, who graduated with a CGPA of 4.65, and Akpan Sunday, with a CGPA of 4.51, both from the Department of Business Administration at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA).
In recognition of their exceptional performance, each graduate was presented with a cash gift of ₦50,000. Both are active members of the church’s Young Adults and Youth Affairs (YAYA) in Ondo Province 7.
The Pastor-in-Charge of the Province, Pastor Olatunde Oladimeji, commended the graduates for their dedication. He affirmed the church’s commitment to celebrating achievements that inspire young people to pursue excellence. “Recognising excellence motivates the next generation to aim higher and become role models in both the church and society,” Oladimeji stated.
He noted that under his leadership, the church has consistently honoured its first-class graduates with such gifts, reinforcing a culture of rewarding academic distinction.
