Skit maker and content creator Ashmusy has been spotted with controversial Nigerian cleric Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Pastor Odumeje, who prayed for her at a Lagos apartment.
Ashmusy shared the moment on social media, writing: “I was with… the other day. Fill in the name you know him with. It was so interesting!! We sure had a good time at @rahat_apartments. We were blessed by his presence.”
She tagged @ikejerusalem and joked, “Please invite more GANGUZAs oo. Loveet!”
“GANGUZA” is one of Odumeje’s many self-proclaimed titles, alongside Indaboski Bahose, The Lion Himself, Liquid Metal and Gandusa.
The post comes as Ashmusy navigates a period of public scrutiny and personal reinvention. She recently took a break from social media, deleted her Instagram posts and announced she was shifting her focus toward giving her life to God and moving away from controversial adult-brand endorsements.
Seeking prayers from high-profile spiritual figures has formed part of that new direction.
The Fake House Scandal
In late 2025, Ashmusy was hit with a major “fake life” scandal after she shared a video showcasing four luxury, fully automated duplexes in Lekki. She claimed she built them over two years for ₦400 million.
The celebration soured when a prominent real estate developer and several realtors posted public disclaimers.
“Ignore the lies. This property was never acquired by your fave and is still very much available for sale,” they wrote.
Netizens dragged her online, accusing her of faking her wealth by posing in front of a house that did not belong to her.
The Phyna Feud
More recently, Ashmusy found herself in a highly publicised feud with Big Brother Naija winner Phyna.
Phyna publicly called out Ashmusy, claiming she recommended her for a multi-million naira celebrity boxing match only for Ashmusy to go behind her back and ask organisers to replace her.
Ashmusy denied trying to get Phyna kicked out. She clarified that she merely expressed discomfort to organisers about fighting Phyna because they are not professionals.
Following online backlash and alleged threats from Phyna’s fanbase, Ashmusy withdrew from the boxing event entirely and threatened legal action over the harassment.
Egg Freezing Revelation
In mid-2026, Ashmusy opened up on the Echo Room podcast about her decision to freeze her eggs.
She explained that the decision gave her peace of mind regarding her biological clock, removing societal pressure to rush into marriage with the wrong person.
She noted that finding an emotionally mature partner takes time, and securing her path to future motherhood was a priority.
New Projects
Alongside her YouTube film The Hustle, Ashmusy launched a new viral courtroom parody series on Ashmusy TV called Court of Chaos.
She continues to promote both projects on her social media platforms.
