Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has been conferred with Saint Lucia’s highest national honor, the Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (K.C.S.L.), during his ongoing state visit to the Caribbean nation.
The historic ceremony, held at the Government House in Castries, marks the first time a sitting Nigerian president has visited Saint Lucia. Governor-General Errol Charles presented the award, praising Tinubu’s leadership, Pan-African diplomacy, and contributions to global unity.
“This is not just a visit,” said Tinubu, “it’s a reconnection of family across the Atlantic.”
