Ugwu’s winning entry creatively integrated CeraVe moisturising products into engaging content that resonated with both judges and voters. Her victory came with a cash prize and a fully sponsored trip to Paris, France.

An emotional Ugwu took to social media after the win, writing: “God did! I’m super grateful. Thank you, God! Thank you @cerave_africa, @redrickpr for this award! Thank you to everyone who voted, which got me to the final stage. And thanks to the jury for choosing me as a winner! Gosh!!!”

A Mass Communication graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ugwu has built a loyal following through comedic sketches that humorously capture African family dynamics, from middle-child struggles to strict parenting and sibling rivalries.

Her CerAwards win solidifies her status as one of Nigeria’s fast-rising digital stars, bridging skincare education with culturally rooted storytelling.
