Only survivor speaks after India plane crash with over 240 onboard

Tragedy struck as Air India Flight 171 headed to London with more than 240 onboard went down shortly after takeoff, leaving behind wreckage and heartbreak. The sole known survivor, Viswashkumar Ramesh, a British national, has recounted the harrowing moment.

“Thirty seconds after takeoff there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly. When I got up there were bodies all around me,” he told reporters, still shaken.

Indian authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, as recovery efforts continue. Ramesh’s survival is being described as nothing short of miraculous.
