Professor Ogechi Adeola has been ranked the number one researcher in Business and Management in Rwanda by the 2026 AD Scientific Index.
The index also places her among the top 10 scientists in the country overall. The ranking follows her earlier selection in the Stanford–Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists list.
Adeola serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Enterprise at the University of Kigali. Her work concentrates on marketing strategy, digital transformation, sustainability, and tourism.
According to her AD Scientific Index profile, she has accumulated over 4,800 career citations. More than 90 per cent of those citations were recorded within the last five years, reflecting a sharp upward trajectory in research impact.
The University of Kigali has not yet stated the ranking. Adeola is expected to lead a new research symposium on digital business models later this quarter, according to university sources.
