The journey of Emmanuel Iloba, popularly known as Emmiwuks, continues to inspire millions across Africa. The young Nigerian adventurer is currently riding his bicycle from Nigeria to the United States in a daring expedition he calls “Project NIG2USA”, a journey symbolizing unity, endurance, and the power of the African dream.

Now on Day 116, Emmiwuks made a memorable stop at the Nigerian Embassy in Guinea-Bissau, where he was warmly received by Ambassador Esther John Audu and embassy officials. His visit turned into a moment of pride and patriotism as the officials welcomed him not just as a traveler, but as a true son of Nigeria carrying the nation’s flag across continents.
In his words, “Today was nothing short of overwhelming. The love, respect, and encouragement I received from our people truly touched my heart. The Ambassador and the entire embassy team received me like family, not just as a traveler, but as a Nigerian on a mission to make our nation proud.”

He continued, “Their smiles, prayers, and kindness reminded me why we say Naija no dey carry last. You made me feel at home, far away from home. Your belief in my mission gave me the strength to keep pushing forward.”
Emmiwuks also extended heartfelt appreciation to Madam Esther, acknowledging her effort, grace, and support in making his embassy visit possible.
Born with an adventurous spirit and a deep love for his homeland, Emmiwuks began his journey earlier this year to promote peace, unity, and African resilience. His cross-continental mission has taken him through numerous countries, enduring harsh weather, rough terrains, and language barriers, all while carrying the Nigerian and African flags proudly on his back.

At every stop, he spreads messages of hope, unity, and environmental awareness, engaging local communities and encouraging young Africans to believe in their potential. His phrase, “Together we ride, together we rise,” has become a rallying cry for many who follow his journey online.
Emmiwuks’ stop in Guinea-Bissau further reinforced his mission’s significance, to showcase Nigeria’s spirit of perseverance and the power of African solidarity beyond borders.

In closing his remarks, he declared: “The Nigerian spirit is alive, strong, and full of love. May God bless everyone who has supported this journey. The road ahead may be long, but our purpose remains firm. Together we ride. Together we rise. Viva Africa!”
