Moroccan-born American rapper French Montana has shared a meeting with Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, on social media, sparking speculation about a possible business venture.
The rapper posted a photo of the encounter on Threads and Instagram, asking his followers what they would pitch to the Nigerian billionaire.
“I just linked up with the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote. If you were me, what would you ask him first? What would be the first business plan or idea you present to him?” French Montana wrote.
Dangote, founder and chairman of Dangote Group, built his fortune in cement, sugar, flour and a newly commissioned oil refinery. His net worth is estimated between $28.5 billion and $35 billion, making him the wealthiest individual on the continent.
French Montana was born in Morocco and has maintained close ties to African music and business circles. His post does not state whether a formal business proposal was discussed.
Neither Dangote Group nor the rapper’s management has stated the nature of the meeting. The post remains live, and engagement continues to grow.
