Miss World Nigeria 2026 Tamunosoye Karibi-George

Tamunosoye Karibi-George is officially Vietnam-bound. The reigning Miss World Nigeria 2026 departed Lagos on Thursday, August 6, 2026, to represent Nigeria at the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Miss World Festival in Vietnam.

She shared the emotional moment on social media. “Today, I begin one of the most meaningful journeys of my life,” she wrote. “Carrying the love, strength, and spirit of my country with me is an honour I will never take for granted.”

The departure looked straight out of a fashion editorial. Tamunosoye stepped through the airport terminal in a high-fashion white and green tweed peplum jacket featuring a dramatic oversized emerald green satin bow at the neck. Bold emerald green ostrich-feather trim adorned the left shoulder and right cuff.

She paired the statement jacket with a long white beaded fringe skirt, Black dotted tights, and emerald green satin pumps with crystal buckles. Accessories included pearl-embellished cat-eye sunglasses, white pearl drop earrings, a white pearl headband, and a small woven emerald clutch. The outfit was crafted by Pepple Robert Bridal, the Port Harcourt-based designer known for redefining the feminine silhouette.

The photos captured two distinct moments. One showed her walking confidently through the terminal—grey and white checkerboard floor, a colourful African mural in the background. The other featured her seated on custom white rolling suitcases branded “MISS WORLD NIGERIA” with a green crown logo.

Her team included hairstylist Dee_Damsels, makeup artist Dora (Glam by Dora), and photographer Daniels.

“This journey is bigger than me,” she said. “It’s for every dreamer, every believer, and everyone who has supported me along the way.”

Vietnam, here she comes. Nigeria is watching.
