Augustina Augustine has been named Miss Charm Nigeria 2026, the Miss Charm Organisation announced on Monday, elevating the 2025 first runner-up to the national title ahead of the global pageant in Vietnam this December.
Augustine, known on Instagram as @_augustinaa, placed second at Miss Charm Nigeria 2025, where she also won the “Most Influential Queen of the Year” award. She succeeds the previous titleholder and will now carry Nigeria’s flag at the international competition, themed “The Beauty of Cultural Identity.”
A graduate of Religious and Cultural Studies, Augustine works professionally as a host, event compere and speaker, earning the nickname “The Golden Voice.” For over five years, she has run Augustina’s Table, a leadership and community development platform for African women. She also founded Strut n’ Speech by AA, a pageant and public speaking coaching outfit whose trainees include the titleholders of Mister International 2024 and Mister International Africa 2025.
Reacting to the appointment, Augustine cast the moment as a full-circle journey. “A year later, I’m answering destiny’s call… The road to Vietnam has come full circle, and I am deeply honoured to carry this torch as your MISS CHARM NIGERIA 2026,” she said. “This crown is more than a title—it is a responsibility, a purpose, and a promise to represent Nigeria with grace, excellence, and heart. Vietnam, here we come.”
The Miss Charm Organisation said Augustine’s experience and advocacy background made her a natural fit for the role.
She is expected to begin her pre-pageant preparations immediately, with a media tour and cultural showcase planned before she departs for Vietnam later in the year.
