Miss Universe Côte d’Ivoire Olivia Yacé arrives Lagos for E1 Championship Fashion Showcase

Miss Universe Côte d’Ivoire 2025, Olivia Yacé, has arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, ahead of the E1 Championship Fashion Showcase X Experience Lagos 2025, an international event merging sport, fashion, tourism, and humanitarian impact.

The project, organised by Maryam Elisha of Rikaoto by Me in partnership with the Aurora International Charity Foundation, led by Tomi Salami, is part of activities marking the E1 Lagos Grand Prix — Africa’s first-ever stop of the UIM E1 World Championship, the world’s premier all-electric powerboat racing series, set for October 4–5, 2025.

Speaking on her arrival, Yacé expressed gratitude for the reception she received in Nigeria. “Lagos, you already have my heart. As part of the E1 Championship Fashion Show X Experience Lagos 2025, I have the honor of being invited to Lagos by Maryam Elisha and the Aurora International Charity Foundation. Today, I had the immense privilege of being welcomed by such beautiful and warm-hearted people. Thank you, Nigeria, thank you, Lagos, for this exceptional reception filled with culture, greatness, and humanity. Every smile, every gesture of hospitality, reminds me of the strength and beauty of our united Africa. I am also full of joy to reunite with my lovely Sheynnis Palacios (Miss Universe 2023) and to finally meet the beautiful Onyinyechi (Miss Universe Nigeria 2025),” she said.

The E1 Championship Fashion Showcase will feature an immersive runway at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, spotlighting Nigerian and international designers. The initiative also highlights VIP humanitourism, promoting cultural exchange while supporting environmental and community-focused causes through the Aurora International Charity Foundation.

Yacé joins other global beauty queens, including Sheynnis Palacios (Miss Universe 2023), Jessica Lane (Miss Earth), Beatrice Millan-Windorski (Miss Earth Water), Onyinyechi Basil (Miss Universe Nigeria 2025), and Damilola Bolarinde (Miss Universe Lagos), as part of the high-profile guests for the fashion showcase and racing event.
