Miss Aura Nigeria Mercy Babajide stuns in Top 12 with fiery intelligence round at Miss Aura International 2025

Miss Aura Nigeria Mercy Babajide has officially blazed into the Top 12 at the ongoing Miss Aura International 2025 pageant, following a gripping Intelligence Round that tested each delegate’s public speaking prowess and emotional depth. Held before a panel of judges and global viewers, the round proved to be a defining moment — and Miss Aura Nigeria delivered.

Her response to the question, “What does emotional intelligence contribute to success?” stood out for its raw honesty and personal insight, immediately setting her apart. Drawing from her experiences as a broadcast journalist, she shared:

“As a journalist, I deal with people who lack emotional intelligence every day. You must understand that being empathetic is the foundation of emotional intelligence. For example, when my visa was denied just days ago, someone asked if I could be replaced because of it. That hit deep. Many people don’t know what emotional intelligence is, and even those who do often don’t see the need to act on it. We must learn what to say, when to say it, and how it impacts others.”

Her deeply personal testimony captivated both judges and audiences, reflecting not only intellect but resilience, compassion, and leadership — the very qualities Miss Aura International celebrates.

The organizers praised the entire cohort for their brilliant responses, stating, “Choosing the Top 12 was incredibly difficult. Every delegate showcased extraordinary public speaking skills and shared powerful, thought-provoking ideas.”

As Nigeria’s beacon on the global pageant stage, Miss Aura Nigeria continues to inspire with grace, grit, and glowing intellect. All eyes now remain fixed on the finals as she inches closer to possibly clinching the prestigious crown.
