Miss Aura Nigeria star Mercy Babajide opened the 11th month with high-octane elegance, unveiling a crimson CwidyGlam look that screams vintage screen goddess. Draped in a scarlet velvet-and-lace corset gown, finished with opera gloves and tiers of pearls, the queen served old-Hollywood glamour with Naija confidence.

“New month, but allow me to reintroduce myself… I am a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. MERCY BABS, first of her kind, first of her name. Kings have come to the brightness of my rising,” she wrote, pairing the declaration with studio portraits that lit up timelines.

The Abuja-based fashion house CwidyGlam designed and crafted the figure-hugging silhouette; celebrity makeup artist Davina delivered the rich, soft-matte beat; and Sandra Yetunde captured the moments in sleek, crimson-on-crimson frames that amplify the pearls and the power pose.
It’s been a busy season for the Miss Aura Peace Ambassador. In October, Babajide graced the Turkish Republic Day celebration in Abuja, was announced as host of the 2025 Dawalk Fashion Show, and visited the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, to applaud the ministry’s vision while pledging to keep championing peace, culture, and Nigerian beauty.

Babajide is setting the tone for a grand finish to the year, with CwidyGlam’s scarlet signature as her banner.
