After a highly anticipated taste test in Accra, viewed by millions, the YouTuber gave his honest opinion: “Nigerian Jollof… It’s still the champion. Nigeria wins this one.”
This declaration concludes a culinary theme of his 28-day tour, where he previously praised versions in Senegal and Liberia but consistently ranked Nigeria highest for its “extra kick.”
Despite the playful verdict, Speed’s visit was celebrated. He was honoured with a traditional naming ceremony, receiving the name Barima Kofi Akuffo.
