Idia Aisien brought queen energy to Day 2 of Lagos Fashion Week 2025, gliding onto the LB Lumina runway in a bridal-bright confection that turned the catwalk into a dreamscape. “Just give me my crown already! At Day 2 Lagos Fashion Week for Bisola in LB Lumina of course!!!” she quipped—then proceeded to wear the night like a coronation.

The look, crafted by LB Lumina’s founder and creative director Bisola Adeniyi, paired a sculpted, strapless bodice, finished with pearl-tipped buttons and a modern peplum, with a sweeping tulle skirt that billowed like mist under show lights. Aisien’s hair, styled into a dramatic bow up-do by Abby (IG: @abbeymattheworks), framed Akano diamonds (IG: @akano_diamonds) that caught every camera flash. At the same time, Abbah Margaret of Studio Bibyonce (IG: @studiobibyonce) kept the makeup polished and luminous. Photokulture (IG: @photokulture) captured the moment in crisp, cinematic frames.
For Adeniyi, LB Lumina’s throughline is devotion to women who want presence and polish in the same breath. The label’s origin story is stitched with grit and romance—years spent learning on a vintage machine, writing about fashion, interning, iterating—before evolving into a house known for elegantly engineered silhouettes and red-carpet reliability. Nine years on, that practice shows: the dress sits like architecture, moves like air.
Lagos Fashion Week 2025 has been a blaze of heritage and innovation; LB Lumina’s showing doubled down on both. And Idia? making a compelling case that the crown she joked about might as well be custom-fitted.
