The showstopper custom gown by Lagos-based Steph’s Craft (@steph_craft_01) is nothing short of a masterpiece. The dress features a fitted strapless bodice with a flattering sweetheart neckline, shimmering in gradient blues that transition from deep turquoise at the top to a lighter, almost silver-blue at the hem. Intricate beading and sequin work create a structured, corset-like effect that perfectly accentuates her silhouette.
The floor-length skirt is completely encrusted with shimmering beads, catching light with every movement. A gorgeous beaded overlay drapes gracefully from her hip, adding dramatic flair and movement reminiscent of rich Nigerian ceremonial textures. Delicate beaded shoulder straps adorned with small floral embellishments add a soft, feminine touch to the overall grandeur.
No Nigerian celebration look is complete without a show-stopping gele, and Magaji’s perfectly tied turquoise headpiece crowns the ensemble with regal elegance. The fabric features a subtle marbled pattern, adding depth without overwhelming the gown’s intricate details.
