Burna Boy, Travis Scott unleash “TaTaTa,” a neon-fuelled anthem for No Sign of Weakness era

It’s a match made in Afrofusion heaven: Burna Boy and Travis Scott have linked up for “TaTaTa,” the red-hot new single propelling Burna’s highly-anticipated album, No Sign of Weakness, dropping July 10.

The single, produced by Naija’s own Chillz Chilleaux, lands with a bang. The Benny Boom-directed music video plunges us into a dark, neon-soaked warehouse party—pulsing bodies, sweat, and style. A young man gets lost in the party’s hypnotic energy, but all eyes eventually turn to Burna and Travis, posted up in effortlessly cool fits, sharing a smoke and moving like global icons in their element.

“TaTaTa” arrives hot on the heels of Burna’s recent singles “Bundle by Bundle,” “Sweet Love,” and “Update,” each one flexing a new side of the Giant’s evolving soundscape. Burna is still fusing Afrobeats with global pop, but this album cycle? There’s a deeper, more reflective vibe, echoing the “death” of his African Giant persona. As he recently declared on Instagram: “The African Giant died. His own people killed him. Then, Big 7 was born to protect what was left of Burna Boy… the African Giant still haunts Burna Boy.”

But even haunted, Burna’s bigger than ever. He just made history as the first African artist to headline Stade de France. His feature on Joé Dwèt Filé’s “4 Kampe II” is blowing up, and he’s on the F1: The Movie soundtrack out June 27. Summer 2025 sees Burna on tour in Germany, and headlining the 20th anniversary of London’s Wireless Festival.

If this is what weakness looks like, the world better buckle up—because #BurnaBoy is on fire, and “TaTaTa” proves the throne is still his to lose.
