Bolanle Olukanni to host NECLive 2025, Nigeria’s Creative Economy Summit

Nigerian Entertainment Conference (#NECLive) has named acclaimed broadcaster Bolanle Olukanni as one of the hosts for its 2025 edition, holding November 28 at Landmark Centre, Lagos.

In a statement, organizers said Olukanni will steer the conference’s multi-segment format—keynotes, panels, live performances, Q&As, workshops, and innovation showcases—noting, “We expect Bolanle to bring her magnetic presence, expertise, and deep knowledge to the most defining creative-industry gathering of the year.”

Olukanni, a television and radio host and actor, welcomed the appointment: “For over a decade, NECLive has consistently delivered impactful conversations and showcased the best of our industry. The organisers have curated a truly great platform and I am happy to be a part of it.”

A familiar face to millions, Olukanni first broke out on Moments with Mo and later co-hosted Project Fame West Africa. She has anchored Channels TV’s International Women’s Month special and NdaniTV’s THE JUICE, where she interviewed top names including Davido, Aṣa, Brandy, and Cobhams Asuquo—alongside high-level sit-downs with figures such as President Muhammadu Buhari, Babatunde Raji Fashola, and Zeinab Badawi. She is also the first woman and two-time anchor in NECLive history, and has helmed marquee stages from UBA CEO Awards to The Future Awards Africa, the IAA conferences, and more.

Founded in 2013 by Ayeni Adekunle, NECLive convenes artists, filmmakers, comedians, producers, investors, and policymakers for a full day of ideas, showcases, and deal-making—cementing Lagos as the capital of Africa’s creative economy.
