Anto Lecky has taken her advocacy beyond entertainment and governance into the realm of public safety. In August, the Edo State Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Creative Economy was officially unveiled as a Celebrity Special Marshal for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

Lecky, a former Big Brother Naija semi-finalist and tourism ambassador, described the appointment as an honor and a responsibility. “As a tourism ambassador, it is extremely important that I advocate for safe road usage, so I am honored that I was nominated for this prestigious role,” she said.
Highlighting the urgency, Lecky noted that road traffic injuries remain one of the top three causes of death for people aged 5–44, claiming more lives annually than malaria. She urged Nigerians to adopt safer practices: no underage driving, no driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, no use of phones behind the wheel, and zero tolerance for excessive speed or distractions.

Beyond motorists’ responsibility, she also called on FRSC and government authorities to step up. “We need safer roads—fixing potholes, installing streetlights, and ensuring trained officers are stationed to assist road users,” she stressed.
Her rallying cry was clear: “We all have a role to play in making our roads safer to boost our tourism industry.”
