E. Taylor showed up for Nigeria again—and she showed out. The NYC-based trainer and content creator celebrated Team Nigeria’s 60–56 basketball win over Ghana at the 2026 Battle of Jollof (Season VI), held Saturday, September 12, at the Major R. Owens Community Center in Brooklyn.
Her outfit did the heavy lifting. She wore a custom sleeveless halter-neck catsuit by her own brand, Alcmenee Activewear—white down the centre front, sculpted emerald green panels on the sides, hips, and outer legs, finished with thin white piping. The green panel on her left leg carried vertical white text reading “#ALCMENEE ACTIVEWEAR.”
Then came the flag. A long green-white-green Nigerian train hung from her right hip and pooled behind her like a cape. She paired it with gold and black open-toe stilettos, a thin red bracelet on her right wrist, and loose curly black hair with glam makeup.
Nigerians should buy this. If ever there was a look built for a victory lap, this is it—and it deserves to be worn in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and everywhere else the flag flies. Alcmenee ships, the design is unmistakably Naija, and three straight wins over Ghana is exactly the kind of moment worth dressing for.
“The assignment, every year: figure out how to top last year’s look,” she wrote. “And of course, this year’s look had to be ALCMENEE.”
But the outfit wasn’t the point. The community was. “It genuinely feels like a reunion—familiar faces, new ones, good food, music, culture, and an energy that is honestly unparalleled.”
She signed off with the score and a laugh: “3 in 0 🇳🇬. Now the only problem is… how am I supposed to top this next year?”
Taylor isn’t Nigerian, but she’s become a permanent fixture at the event. The certified personal trainer and PES specialist built a 200,000-follower platform around women’s health and functional fitness, and founded Alcmenee to serve the same audience. She’s partnered with Reebok, Adidas, Brooks Running, Powerade, and Degree.
The win sealed a historic three-peat for Nigeria. The event drew Wale, Tobe Nwigwe, Angela Yee, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Guapdad 4000.
