The Nigeria U20 women’s national team recorded a commanding 3–0 victory over Ghana’s Black Princesses in the ongoing 2025 WAFU B U20 Girls Cup, reaffirming their dominance in West African women’s football.
The match, played at the WAFU B tournament venue in West Africa, saw Nigeria take control early and maintain momentum throughout the encounter. Janet Akekoromowei opened the scoring in the 17th minute after capitalizing on a defensive lapse, putting the Falconets ahead. Alaba Olabiyi extended the lead just six minutes later with a composed finish in the 23rd minute. The final goal came in the second half when Kareem Ramotalahi found the net in the 60th minute, sealing a well-deserved win for Nigeria.
