When your father is Wizkid, the world expects nothing short of magic. But 14-year-old Boluwatife Balogun, now known by his stage name Champz.

The young artist stepped into the spotlight with his debut EP, Champion’s Arrival, announced on Instagram with the words, “The Champion has arrived.” Since its release, the five-track project has stormed Apple Music charts — topping Nigeria’s Top Albums, charting in 16 countries, and peaking at No. 71 in the UK, making Champz one of Africa’s youngest charting acts ever.

From the anthemic Champion Montana to the reflective Grind and the bold Superstar — a nod to Wizkid’s 2011 classic — Champz fuses Afrobeats with rap, trap, and youthful rhythm. The sound is sleek, the flow confident, and the lyrics brim with teenage audacity and ambition.
