Big Wiz is about to light up the City of Angels like never before. On Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, Nigeria’s global hitmaker Wizkid will headline the legendary Hollywood Bowl, delivering a genre-defying performance alongside Derrick Hodge and the acclaimed Color of Noize Orchestra.
Part of the celebrated KCRW Festival, this one-night spectacle will see the Afrobeats superstar fuse his iconic sound—blending highlife, R&B, and synth-driven club beats—with the lush, experimental layers of a live orchestra. Fans can expect fresh magic from the voice behind global chart dominators like One Dance, Essence, and the Grammy-winning Brown Skin Girl.
Opening the night is Jamaican dancehall queen Shenseea, bringing her fierce energy to prime the stage for Wizkid’s historic Bowl debut.
Since 1922, the Hollywood Bowl has hosted icons from Billie Holiday to The Beatles. Now, with more BET, Soul Train, and Billboard Awards than any other African artist—and 19 Headies to his name—Wizkid cements his reign among legends under those famous arches.
Mark it down: June 22nd. LA’s summer just got a whole lot hotter.
