Fellow Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr will deliver the opening keynote address on April 17, discussing leadership across the continent.

The symposium features “Innovation Labs” covering Financial Services, Healthcare, Music & Arts, and Digital Content Creation.

Victony, known for hits including “Soweto” and “Holy Father,” has emerged as one of Afrobeats’ most distinctive voices since his breakthrough following a near-fatal car accident in 2021.

His performance at Yale underscores the growing recognition of African music as a pillar of continental innovation and cultural influence.
