Teni is bringing her powerhouse vocals to the City of Brotherly Love. The Nigerian Afrobeats superstar just locked in as the headliner for the 18th Annual ACANA Festival on August 2, 2026.
The free event goes down at Cherry Street Pier from 2 PM to 8 PM. Expect jollof, fufu, and a whole lot of African swag at this PECO Multicultural Series showcase (Cherry Street Pier, located at 121 N. Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106).
Teni dropped her “Wellness Package” EP just nine days earlier on July 24. The six-track project is all about healing, growth, and community—perfect vibes for a diaspora celebration.
The ACANA Festival is a full sensory experience. Think artisan markets with traditional crafts, fashion displays, and family zones for the little ones. Local and international diaspora artists will also hit the stage alongside Teni.
She’s known for that witty humour and storytelling flair. Her voice? Pure magic. Philadelphia’s African diaspora is about to get a masterclass in Afrobeats energy.
The festival runs from afternoon to evening, so come hungry, come stylish, and come ready to dance. Teni’s headlining slot caps off a massive summer for the singer.
And it’s all free. Yes, free. No tickets, no gates—just culture, music, and community at Penn’s Landing. Mark August 2 on your calendars.
