Nigeria’s Super Falcons lit up the WAFCON knockout stage with a commanding 5-0 demolition of Zambia, securing their place in the semi-finals with a statement win that reasserts their continental dominance.

Veteran defender Osinachi Ohale set the tone with a clinical finish in the 2nd minute, sparking early celebrations. Esther Okoronkwo doubled the lead in the 33rd minute, capitalizing on a defensive slip to slot past the Zambian keeper.

Just before the halftime break, striker Chinwendu Ihezuo made it 3-0 in the 45th, leaving Zambia shell-shocked going into the dressing room.
