The Emperor of Afrobeats, Burna Boy, took his newly delivered custom Bugatti Chiron VXX out for its first major drive in Lagos on Monday, drawing crowds of fans onto the streets.
The 1-of-1 hypercar, estimated to be worth around ₦9 billion, was customised by Dubai-based Venuum and finished in French Racing Blue. Burna Boy set out around 6:30 a.m. on 21 September 2026.
Videos circulating online showed fans running alongside the vehicle and blocking its path just to catch a glimpse of the singer.

The drive followed a gathering the night before at Vein Lagos, a nightclub on Victoria Island. Fellow artist Shallipopi and his crew were present to mark the car’s official arrival.
Footage of the supercar struggling to clear a steep entry ramp at the venue also circulated online. The clip drew humorous reactions, with users questioning whether Lagos roads are suitable for a multi-billion-naira machine.
