A Nigerian content creator, Ibrahim, has announced the death of his wife, Claire Chadwick, and their unborn daughter.
In a statement posted on social media, Ibrahim said Claire died on Thursday, 29 October 2026.
“Words cannot adequately express the pain, emptiness and heartbreak that come with losing the two people who meant so much to me,” he wrote.
He described Claire as “my wife, my best friend, my companion and an irreplaceable part of my life,” and said their daughter was “a blessing we were so eagerly looking forward to welcoming.”
Reports indicate Claire was 37 weeks pregnant when her unborn daughter died in the womb. According to those accounts, she subsequently developed sepsis and died of septic shock.
The medical sequence has not been confirmed by hospital authorities or an official statement, and the report presents it as reported rather than established.

Claire is also survived by a 19-year-old son who lives in Wales.
Claire’s sister, Shannon, launched a GoFundMe campaign titled “Bringing Claire Home” to raise funds to bring the bodies of Claire and her baby to South Wales for burial together.
The campaign surpassed its £10,000 goal, according to the family.
Ibrahim thanked Claire’s family for organising the fundraiser.
“Your efforts, generosity and support mean more to me than words can express,” he wrote.
Ibrahim thanked followers, friends and supporters for calls, messages, prayers and condolences.
“You welcomed us into your homes through our videos, celebrated our relationship, laughed with us and became part of our journey,” he wrote. “The love you have shown us during this painful time is something I will never forget.”
He said he will be taking time away from social media to mourn.
