Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has been officially confirmed to perform at the historic FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert, set to take place at the iconic Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
The high‑energy event will see Davido share the stage with Diplo’s Major Lazer and other special guests, as part of a synchronised live multi‑city broadcast connecting celebrations in Los Angeles, Toronto, and Mexico City. Organised in collaboration with the Grammys®, the concert marks a first‑of‑its‑kind countdown to the world’s biggest football tournament.
Doors open at 5:00 PM PT, with the live broadcast starting at 6:00 PM PT. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 3, at 10:00 AM PT. Global fans can stream the concert live on TikTok via the official FIFA World Cup account, with on‑demand viewing available on VuMe Live the following day.
This performance adds another milestone to Davido’s career. He previously made history as the first African artist to perform at a World Cup closing ceremony during the 2022 tournament in Qatar.
