Melissa Angelica Toghanro Eyang, representing Miss Delta, has been crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria 2027.
The coronation took place during the grand finale of the Miss Universe Nigeria 2026 pageant on Sunday, 27 September 2026.
While Miss Lagos, Danielle Adewusi, claimed the main title of Miss Universe Nigeria 2026 and will represent the country in Puerto Rico this November, Eyang secured the Miss Supranational Nigeria crown.
She will represent Nigeria at the Miss Supranational pageant in Poland next year.
The win gives her ample time to prepare. She follows in the footsteps of Gift Eno Ndah, who achieved Nigeria’s historic 3rd runner-up placement at Miss Supranational 2026.
Eyang is of mixed Nigerian and Equatorial Guinean heritage. Her father is Nigerian, and her mother is from Equatorial Guinea, the only Spanish-speaking nation in Africa.
She identifies as African, Nigerian and Hispanic, embracing a cross-cultural background she highlighted throughout her campaign.
She is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish and Chinese, and is actively learning Portuguese.
