Temitope Alex just made Nigerian male pageant history. The Mister Caballero Universal Nigeria 2026 departed Lagos today, November 7, 2026, for Caracas, Venezuela—becoming the first Nigerian delegate ever to compete at Caballero Universal.
The organisation announced the departure with photos of Alex holding the green-white-green flag. He’s en route via Doha.
“Months of preparation, planning, persistence, and dedication have led to this moment,” the organisation wrote, promising he’ll carry Nigeria’s flag onto “yet another international stage.”
NAIJA TV Network is officially backing Alex’s historic run, pledging full media support throughout the competition and sending a clear message: carry the flag with the resilience that defines every Nigerian. We’ve watched you grind through the national circuit, and now the world gets to see it.

Alex finished in the Top 6 at the national Misters of Nigeria competition before earning the Caballero slot. Beyond pageantry, he curates the project Broken Masks and recently reached the semifinals of the Grooming Talent Hunt (GTH8) as a singer.
The wait was long. Years of travel documentation and visa challenges kept Nigerian representatives out of this competition. Alex just broke the deadlock.
The official camp opens today in Caracas. The final coronation gala lands November 17, 2026.
Ten days to make it count. Naija TV is watching, and Nigeria is with you.
