Afrobeats superstar Asake has officially announced that his fourth studio album, titled “M$NEY,” will be released on May 1, 2026, continuing his remarkable run of annual album drops since his 2022 debut.
The 13-track project will feature previously released singles, including “Why Love,” “Badman Gangsta” featuring Tiakola, and the hit single “Worship,” which has already dominated charts and playlists across Africa and beyond.
The announcement was accompanied by a striking visual created by Iraqi-Dutch artist Athar Jabar, featuring a hand-carved marble sculpture in Asake’s likeness — a testament to the elevated artistic direction of the new project.
“M$NEY” marks a significant shift for the YBNL star, as it is being released under his own label, Giran Republic, in partnership with EMPIRE. The move signals Asake’s growing control over his music and business empire.
The release follows his highly successful run of three consecutive albums: “Mr Money with the Vibe” (2022), “Work of Art” (2023), and “Lungu Boy” (2024). Each project has solidified his reputation as one of Afrobeats’ most consistent and commercially successful artists.
With “M$NEY,” Asake aims to build on that momentum, promising fans a fresh sound while staying true to the energetic, street-infused style that has made him a global phenomenon.
The album is now available for pre-order on all major streaming platforms ahead of its May 1 drop. Fans have already taken to social media to express excitement, with many predicting another chart-topping project from the “Lungu Boy” hitmaker.
The album’s tracklist and additional features have not yet been fully disclosed. Asake continues to prove why he remains one of the most exciting voices in contemporary African music.
The countdown to May 1 has officially begun.
