The Isimi Lagos Festival 2025 lit up Epe on Saturday, turning the Isimi Lagos Wellness and Polo Country Estate into a living canvas of elegance, culture, and eco-conscious luxury.
Set within an estate designed with wellness routes, smart-living features, and serene green vistas, the festival offered a futuristic yet deeply African take on refined living.
This year’s showcase, The King’s Cup 2025, blended sport, heritage, and lifestyle with Lagos’ signature flair. Polo hooves thundered across manicured fields, chefs plated farm-fresh cuisine with artistic precision, and wellness activations echoed ancestral philosophies of harmony. The fashion energy was unmistakable—clean linen, sculpted aso-oke, suave agbadas, and crisp suits creating a runway-on-grass effect.
The momentum shifted the moment Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, arrived with his security detail to declare the festival open, adding a touch of state prestige to the celebration. The cultural crown moment followed as His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, stepped into the arena as royal father of the day. His warmth, humour, and commanding aura drew admiration across the field.
The King’s Cup Polo Match brought the afternoon to a sporting crescendo. Teams from Curator University, Precise Lighting, and Nord fielded standout riders—Usman Dantata, Olume, Khalifa, Ahmed Balogun, Moye Fairro, Nf Morela, Dante, and Brown Jersey—delivering an impressive fusion of strategy, speed, and style.

Beyond the spectacle, Isimi Lagos became a hub for meaningful connections. Jubril Arogundade, Acting MD of Lagride Nigeria Ltd and Executive Director at CIG Motors, praised the festival’s ambition and its promise for Africa’s luxury landscape.
Isimi Lagos Festival 2025 ultimately emerged as more than a polo event. It became a full-circle celebration of African refinement—where fashion, culture, food, sport, and innovation moved in harmony to tell a new story of modern Nigerian excellence.
