The 16-track project marks a major milestone in her twelve-year legacy. It arrives on the heels of her 2024 project Rebel Queen and follows her first solo Grammy nomination at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards for her single “Tomorrow.”

The album is packed with star power. The tracklist includes collaborations with Ferre Gola, Spyro, Bien, Sofiya Nzau, Njerae, Singula, Teni, Jeriq, and a high-energy new anthem, “Ala Bekee” featuring Don Jazzy.

But here’s the twist: the self-titled name IT’S YEMI ALADE was chosen directly by her fans. It came out on top as the highest-voted title suggestion from her community—making this album as much theirs as hers.

The rollout strategy is intentional. Riding the momentum of her Grammy nomination, Alade is striking while the iron is hot, capitalising on her heightened visibility within global Academy voting circles.

Mark your calendars. September 11 is locked and loaded.
