Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale has officially married her partner, digital content creator Lala Ronay, in a private ceremony on February 24, 2026.
The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram Sunday, with Ogunbowale posting a series of sunlit photos captioned: “here’s to a lifetime of us 💍♾️ 02.24.26.”
The images captured the couple celebrating outside a grand classical building with white columns. Ogunbowale beamed in a monochromatic dark denim two-piece ensemble—an oversized jacket and wide-leg trousers—while Ronay glowed in a form-fitting sleeveless white wedding dress with delicate straps and a short veil.
In one frame, they held hands as they walked down the steps, their matching silver rings on display. Another showed Ronay raising her bouquet in triumph as Ogunbowale flashed peace signs, both radiating pure joy.
The proposal came in May 2024, when Ogunbowale surprised Ronay with a backyard “Marry Me” display after a game. Ronay is a beauty influencer and content creator.
Ogunbowale, a four-time WNBA All-Star and the fastest player to reach 4,000 career points, received congratulatory messages from peers, including Aliyah Boston.
