Vietnam has been officially selected to host the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Miss World pageant later this year, marking the first time the Southeast Asian nation will welcome the prestigious global competition.

The formal announcement will be made on Sunday, March 29, by Julia Morley CBE, Chairwoman of the Miss World Organization, alongside reigning Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata of Thailand.

The reveal will take place during the Miss World Vietnam 2025 Grand Final at the Military Zone 7 Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.

This landmark edition celebrates 75 years of the “Beauty With a Purpose” mission, with organizers expected to announce the official festival dates and host city for the final coronation. Early reports suggest Đà Lạt is a leading candidate to host the culminating event.

Vietnam joins a growing roster of nations already selecting their representatives for the 75th Anniversary edition.

Recently crowned delegates include South Korea’s Cha Min-seo, India’s Nikita Porwal, and Kenya’s Ivy Trizah Muhenje.

The winner of Vietnam’s national final on March 29 will compete in this edition, while Miss World Vietnam 2025 will represent the country at the 2027 pageant.
