Tinubu vows to make farming ‘Sexy’, but are Naija men ready to get dirty in soil?

President Bola Tinubu has thrown down the hoe and picked up the mic, declaring a bold plan to make agriculture sexy for everyday Nigerians.

Tinubu made the comments during the Democracy Day address at the National Assembly Complex on Thursday, June 12, the president promised to pump life into Nigeria’s fields with modern machinery, tractors, and fresh policies that woo both local hands and foreign investors.

“We are making agriculture more sexy by providing tractors,” Tinubu declared to lawmakers and citizens alike, urging the legislature to back him with innovative laws that fuel industrial growth in cities and secure abundant food on every table.

This agricultural rebranding comes as Nigeria battles food inflation and unemployment. Tinubu’s pitch? If youths and men roll up their sleeves and embrace the new-age farm life, green gold may soon replace oil as king.

So, the question remains, tractors are coming, incentives are coming but are our men ready to swap fancy shoes for muddy boots?
