Nigerian singer Tems has been nominated for the Viewers’ Choice Award at the 2026 BET Awards for her collaboration on the track “Raindance” with British rapper Dave.

The fan‑voted category features a competitive lineup including Cardi B, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Tyla, and Metro Boomin, among others. “Raindance,” praised for its atmospheric production and soulful delivery, has resonated strongly with audiences worldwide.
This nomination adds to Tems’ impressive tally at this year’s ceremony. She is also up for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and BET Her for her solo single “First,” making her the most nominated African act of 2026.
