Peller stunned as swimming pool in Ghana resembles a burial tomb

1 Min Read

Nigerian content creator Peller has sparked a wave of social media banter after criticising a swimming pool design in Ghana, comparing it to a burial tomb.

Peller commented on his visit to Ghana for the “Avengers Ghana Invasion” tour in October 2026. He filmed a video reviewing local architecture and targeted a specific pool structure.

In his trademark comedic style, he said: “Ghana needs to advance with their buildings. Imagine, in 2026, their swimming pool looks like a burial ground.”

The Backstory

The pool in question was a rectangular, uniquely tiled jacuzzi-style plunge pool or small pool. Peller’s joke centred on its aesthetic and layout, which he claimed resembled a grave or tomb.

The video quickly went viral on Instagram and Facebook, sparking lighthearted banter between Nigerians and Ghanaians.

Some viewers laughed along with the joke. Others defended the modern architecture, clarifying that it was simply a compact plunge pool design.
