Pastor Jerry Eze hosted the NSPPD UK Prayer Conference at Old Trafford on Saturday, 26 September 2026, drawing tens of thousands of worshippers to Manchester United’s 74,000-capacity stadium.
The free, registration-required event was organised by Streams of Joy International. Attendees travelled from across the United Kingdom and from other countries.
The stadium stands were filled with worshippers participating in prayers, prophetic declarations and worship. Gospel ministers at the event included Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, Sunmisola Agbebi and Kaestrings.
Transport for Greater Manchester coordinated additional public transport and dedicated shuttle services to manage the influx of an estimated 50,000 to 70,000 attendees travelling into the city.
Images of the football arena transformed into an open-air prayer ground circulated widely on social media, drawing reactions from Nigeria and beyond.
The gathering highlights the global reach of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations platform, which began as a daily digital prayer livestream during the COVID-19 pandemic. What started online has now filled one of the world’s most famous football stadiums.
