Nigerian actress Osas Ighodaro has joined the cast of “Boyz Trip,” a South Africa-set action-comedy currently shooting in Cape Town.
The “Tinsel” star will feature alongside an international ensemble including Woody McClain (“Power Book II: Ghost”), Hakeem Kae-Kazim (“Hotel Rwanda”), record producer Honourable C.N.O.T.E., and Peter Lee (“Invasion”). They join previously announced leads Rome Flynn, Algee Smith, Desi Banks, and Siv Ngesi.

The film follows four college friends whose annual getaway “quickly spirals into international chaos, forcing them to rely on old bonds, questionable skills, and pure luck just to make it out alive.”
Emmy-nominated composers Kareem James and Marcus Ash have also joined the project, directed by Kyle Scott, who also wrote the story and will executive-produce for KeyScott Entertainment and Canyon View Media. Autumn Bailey-Ford is producing for Autumn Bailey Entertainment.
Additional international cast includes Ama Qamata, Thapelo Mokoena, Bohang Moeko, Ama K. Abebrese, Alessandra Fuller, and Francisca Aronsson.
“We are excited to finally round out this cast,” producer Autumn Bailey-Ford said. “This is truly going to be a global project, as we have talent from London, Nollywood, South Africa, Korea, and America all coming together.”
Ighodaro, a former Miss Black USA, is repped by CeeCee Ventures Ltd. The film marks another international milestone for the Nollywood star.
