Olori Atuwatse III, Vanity Hub to host groundbreaking Platinum Gala in Lagos

Vanity Hub Africa has officially announced The Platinum Gala, a landmark event set to take place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at The Royal Box, Cube 65, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Billed as a “call to action, beyond oil,” the Platinum Gala marks the dawn of a new era—an era that unapologetically celebrates Africa’s unmatched brilliance in culture, commerce, and innovation. This historic gathering will bring together a powerful coalition of industry leaders, cultural icons, and diplomatic stakeholders committed to championing sustainable development and long-term economic transformation across the continent.

The event is hosted by Vanity Hub Africa, in collaboration with the Roli Mabo Foundation, Elevate Africa, and the Royal Iwere Foundation—the humanitarian arm of the revered Kingdom of Warri. Under the esteemed leadership of His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, and Her Royal Highness, Olori Atuwatse III, this invitation-only gala promises to spotlight African excellence on a global scale.

“The Platinum Gala stands as a beacon for progress and possibility,” Vanity Hub Africa stated in the announcement. “It’s not just a celebration. It’s a strategic ignition for Africa’s next chapter.”

As the continent pivots toward a more innovation-driven future, the Platinum Gala is expected to catalyze collaborations, spark new ideas, and reaffirm Africa’s place at the helm of global transformation.
